Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of COVID-19 on the economies of Singapore and Thailand. The method used is qualitative by utilizing secondary data from scientific journals and other literature. The results of the study show that the impact of the corona virus pandemic is not only felt in the health sector, but also in all economic sectors. Several ASEAN member countries experienced a recession due to this pandemic. This is due to government policies in each country that prohibit crowds and reduce activities outside the home, thus hampering the economic process. This policy was implemented to control the spread of the corona virus and accelerate the end of the pandemic so that community activities can return to normal.
